Sustainable and naturally sourced, Pectins are the multi-faceted biopolymers produced by plants. They are utilized in snack foods like gummies, and produced using citrus peels. These types of food items are made possible by utilizing the pectin’s thickening abilities and stabilization. As a sustainable, naturally sourced, clean label product, pectins can be used in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products such as gummies. They can aslo be used as a vegan alternative to gelatin.
